So, at long, long last I have sorted out my plans for my army of alts, the new and improved edition. Feeling mostly good about all my combinations of classes and profs and whatnots (except maybe the BS/JC combo but they're sort of the leftovers), and have started leveling my rogue who is going to be my inscriptionist and elixir master alchemist. One tiny snag: I hate her. Or rather, I hate PLAYING her.
I swear, I used to love rogues, I know I did! And whenever I do lowbie bgs on my other toons I always get insta-killed by them and wish I played one. When I do bgs as my rogue? *Flail, flail, dead.* I feel squishy, I can't get or stay near my targets long enough to get any hits in, I seem to do crap damage despite having all the looms... Tried doing a dungeon but that was no more fun, just a lot of running after mobs because the tank wouldn't stand still for one bloody second. Have I just been playing ranged too long? Should I give up on melee alltogether? Would changing specs help (subtlety now)? I feel like rogue specs are fairly similar in play style, but I'm definitely no expert. I really want to like this alt, but I'm thisclose to giving up and making her into a mage or something.
