My guild is rather small - our 240 character roster is mostly around 25-30 actual players. We raid somewhat seriously, but not in the racing mind of getting any kill achievements for the server ( Read more... )

i'm not sure about the master loot, however! i think ora3 can handle the rest of that stuff for you. you can have it auto-invite members above a certain rank, or have them whisper you "invite" for an automatic invite, and i think you can set up assistants with it as well? i only run it for things like battle rez CDs, but i know our raid leader uses it and it has more features than even he makes use of, so it's worth looking into!

I use Tukui or ElvUI for my whole ui so auto-invites I could set from there, it's the Master Looter thing that bothers me the most... >_> We've had a few runs in Firelands where I've forgotten to set it up during progress. It wasn't funny to see boss downed and someone going to see what dropped and grabbing the loot.

Heck, I've even threatened -50 on rolls if someone goes to look at the loot chest. (Because it doesn't speed up things if I have ML and can't get to "loot" there...)

But I'll look into it when I get home. =)

well, i checked the page for it on curse and googled a bit, and i'm fairly certain it does let you set it up to auto-set the raid to master loot! so you might have to poke around with it a bit but it should have that feature :D

ORA3 will put the loot to the threshold you set & turn on master looter for you. It has other great features as well.

Sounds a lot like my guild. I am the loot master but rarely the raid leader, so I just nag whoever is leading till they set up loot right. Maybe you could ask your guildies to nag... err, remind you! till it becomes habit? ;) Still, sooo much less hassle than other loot systems, even if you forget now and then and have to get everyone to pass on the little loot roll popup windows so you can need roll and redistribute with proper rolls. lol
