I didn't see this posted, so I decided to post it here.

Blizzard seeks player feedback.

The link above goes to WoWInsider, which has links to each of the class threads as well as links to the European threads.

What type of content do you focus on? [PvE/PvP/Both]
PvE

If PvE, what type of PvE? [Heroics/Raids/Other]
Leveling, Heroics, past-Raiding.

What are your biggest quality-of-life issues?
This is more-so universal rather than just one class. In BC, Shadow Priests were the only class to provide "Replenishment", then that was given to other classes. Resurrecting can be done by anyone and their mom if they are in a large enough guild: where is the variety? Why must everyone have what everyone else has? It is, I feel, what makes classes differentiate and feel truly special.

What makes playing your class more fun?
Honestly? Melting faces, and Shadowform.

What makes playing your class less fun?
My new "rotation" that is primarily based off of RNG. It is no fun starting a boss and waiting for a Shadow Orb to pop, only to have bad luck by it showing up twenty seconds after all of the other DPS classes have used their cooldowns/ramped up their own DPS.
I also dislike how I have to manage my DoTs now by reapplying them early - a couple seconds *before* they drop off - and thus forcing me to reapply them when I get significant spellpower/int buffs in combat. What-why?

How do you feel about your "rotation"?
I dislike it for the reasons stated above. Playing a Shadow Priest used to have a rhythm to it, where everything flowed and clicked when you were playing at your best. DoTs fell into place, cooldowns were managed, the flow was heaven. Now, it feels like a sloppy mess.

What's on your wish list for your class?
A lot of things. Ultimately, I wish for fluidity in my "rotation" - we still function off of a priority list, but it is continuously halted by outside factors/requirements for optimal DPS.

What spells do you use the least?
Mind Spike. I hardly even use this on trash/soloing. What happened to this spell being planned as an option for Priests to use when they get locked out of Shadow spells? It is too costly to include in any type of opener, and is left out entirely in terms of raids/heroics. I would much rather end a trash mob using the double-dose of enhanced, "execute"-functioning SW:Death, or DoT up everything and go. I feel as though I missed out on Cata bearing gifts in the form of new spells - WHAT new spell? The one that trumps all of my other ones and is an absolute burden to me?

Times I've used Mind Spike:

- Sons of Flame on Ragnaros when asked to DPS.
- Other required burst DPS on low-health adds.
- Disc PVP. Don't get me started on Holy Walk. Srsly.
- JC Elemental Goo Daily.

... That's it.

I use Mind Spike while doing my MF dailies. MS x3, uber instant MB, and if that doesn't kill it, SW:Death. And it's generally waaaaay cheaper to do than dotting everything up.

Also, it's really useful on Majordomo Staghelm when he does a leap that's on the other side of the room and you're suddenly out of range - throw a MS on the cats and when he comes back you've either got a fast or instant cast MB.

Oh and on Omnotron - very good for dropping dots off any of the boss guys so nothing ticks their shields.

It's a limited use spell, absolutely - but if you're not really using it ever, you're not trying to find the right uses for it IMO. (No offense, just my personal opinion! D:)

Oh, so.. it is good for Trash? Even in raids? Pretty much - just - trash. No offense, but I am all set. Mind Spike was intended for something better, and we ended up with a "kill trash with something else" spell.

Oh gee, Blizz...
