Help?
I know this is probably an annoying question for you that have been playing WoW for a while but I recently bought it and this past month I've seriously made at least 20 toons trying to figure out which class & spec I like the most. 2 of my highest are a Nelf Survival Hunter and a Belf Retribution Palidan. I got bored with my Paladin for some reason and I really like rogues but I found that every time I made one I would get frustrated with it at around lvl 16 or 17. I know I won't want to be a priest because I don't want to be the one that gets blamed for everyone dying because I have a daughter and sometimes mommy duties call haha even if I only play after bedtime or nap time. Plus I just don't think I'd make a good priest. Tried a druid and shaman and didn't like them at all either.
So anyhow I made a Human Mage and so far I really like her and I think this one might actually stick (hopefully) and I was trying to look on google to find what Spec would fit me and I'm almost positive I don't want to choose fire so it's between Arcane and Frost and I see a lot of back and forth about both. In simple newb terms (still haven't figured out WoW terminology lol) can someone explain the biggest differences for me. I keep hearing Arcane Mages are good but you have to know how to play your character but I'm sure it's like that with any class/spec.
Any tips/suggestions? TIA!
ETA: Sorry forgot to add I'm in a PvE realm right now until I feel confident enough and actually know what the hell I'm doing for the most part until I possibly switch to a PvP realm.
