Basically between EJ, the forum stickies, the armories of top hunters, and others, there's a lot of confusing and conflicting information out there, and some of it is even, I would argue, just wrong (I'll resist the urge to name a name). People do things like exhaustively calculate all the possible haste configurations ever and format their results in big tables with weird abbreviations and like - I get that they're trying to prove the soundness of their reasoning. Cool! But what most of us want is an easy take-away number we can shoot for, so that's what this guide is. It's not the final word on hunters and haste and it offers no proofs for its advice - all it does is make the advice easy to follow. You can find the proofs on EJ if you want. :)
