What have /you/ learned?
I haven't played an Alliance character in a really, really long time. Even then, it was only briefly. But I decided to roll one for a friend. So there I am, having a grand old time, frolicking around Darkshore, avoiding angry bears while I try to save caged bears. I finish the quest and start back towards Auberdine (what's left of it). Wow, so many cliffs. Oh, look, water! I can just swim back! So I jump on down and start swimming.
What's that up ahead? A waterfall? Ooooh, I love waterfalls! That will certainly get me there quicker! I swim for it. And down, down, down I go. Into the whirlpool. I even get the "Going Down" achievement for it. Doh.
So.... My question is this: What silliness have /you/ done/experienced/witnessed that has made you go "Doh!"?
Although they can be annoying (and embarrassing), I look forward to, and treasure, these moments. :)
PS New to LJ and tags. Not sure exactly where the druid: feral came from, and equally as unsure as to how to get rid of it. Sorry!
