I made a post yesterday in regards to reclaiming a name I used to have. My very first toon when I got my own account was a Human Paladin named Iridia. Have you made a 'holding' character for Iridia? If not, do so quickly, it's amazing how fast names go, even if it seems unlikely.

Trust me, first thing I did after going "SQQUEEEEEE!!" was to make a toon with the name. :3

Well done - I found out the hard way, when I deleted a char and wanted it back - and somebody had the name - and you're only allowed to change one letter in its name to get the char back, for some reason. Argh!

If you want to play a Priest, then play a Priest :-) There's nothing saying that you can't/it's wrong to have multiple toons of the same class. And this way, you get to scratch your 'Priest itch' whenever you want and for however long you want to, instead of being tied to when your husband wants to level Chickpea's pal.

Ah I feel your pain! I can only agree with merinnan and I have to add: Chickpea is such a great & cute name for a gnome priest!

Go with the first choice. If you want to play a priest, that's what you'll constantly be yearning for if you roll her up as a paladin.
