(no subject)
So, in lieu of many things, I decided to stop being bad and properly learn how to PVE frost. Back in latter Wrath I did dungeons and raided as arcane, but I don't like the feel of it anymore.
While I'm not really interested in raiding new content, I've decided that maybe doing a heroic here and there won't be so bad. I was initially researching fire to give it yet another whirl no matter how much I hate that damn tree, since it's the it DPS spec this time around, but I've found that I -can- frost DPS without too much gimping.
Color me intrigued! I raided the beginning of Wrath as Frost until I felt pressured to go Arcane (which is a tree I don't mind and did well enough by it, but Frost is my first love) and it seems like I can at least pull my weight in heroics!
However, relearning the rotation has me kinda scratching my head. This is what I've found the basic jist of the rotation is:
Frostfire orb
Fingers+Deep freeze
Brain freeze+Frostfire bolt, Fingers or not.
Fingers+Ice lance
Frostbolt
My question is, do you only use frostfirebolt -after- you use Frostfire orb when it comes off CD? Frostbolt is your filler, right, to proc Fingers of Frost?
