guild rep other than questing?

So I've finally switched guilds to one that seems really nice.  The trouble is- I have no guild rep!  I'm already exalted with all the people in Cataclysm on my main, and have ground all the daily quests forever, so I'm wondering, how does one get guild rep without questing?  I did a 3 person guild run last night and didn't really seem to get any guild xp from it (I think I got 40 points, though that may have been from an achievement we got in the dungeon).

Any advice?  Is the only way to get guild rep through questing basically?  I wish guild rep carried over.  I was a third into revered before.  :(
