Oceanographer and Limnologist
Anyone else working on The Oceanographer and The Limnologist fishing achievements? I know the Oceanographer can't be finished until spring, when you can catch Summer Bass again, but I decided to get all the rest done so I can just go fish up a Summer Bass when it's possible again and finish this on a nice easy note.
I'm about 1/3 of the way done with the bloated fish needed for these achievements. The first two were fairly painless. I think I got my Bloated Smallfish while fishing up something else before I even noticed this achievement existed. And I lucked out and fished up my Bloated Giant Sunfish before I fished up my regular Giant Sunfish when I was fishing up the "easy" fish the other day.
But now I'm settling into the grind: over 800 casts in the Stormwind Canals and no Bloated Mud Snapper. And once I catch it, I get to fish up four more! :D? :D? D:
Anyway, I just wanted to make a post to see if anyone else is working on this and crying at how many casts it's taking. And to ask what you all do to keep from climbing the walls when fishing up something really time consuming like this. When I was working on Old Ironjaw, and later, the Dalaran fountain achieves, I spent most of the time reading Trade, but this time around, it's starting to make me feel kind of like this.
