I'm so excited, I had an awesome weekend! So many achievements! Also, I can personally vouch for gathermate & routes. Awesome stuff.
cammyd, keep an eye on the AH for the items that you can turn in for AD rep. You'd be surprised how many people just want to get rid of the bones and stuff for cheap. Honestly, it didn't take my long at all to get my AD rep to exalted - good luck!
Yeah I had forgotten about those, but honestly I'm fine with running UD-Strat solo. It goes really fast as a Ret Pally and gives be about 2500 rep per run. I only need about 5 more to be finished. Plus, it gives me gold instead of costing gold, and I have a tiny chance of getting lucky with the Baron mount. What I really need is a trick to get through Timbermaw faster. Or better yet, Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin. :(
Timbermaw isn't really a trick, sadly. Just save all feathers and beads until you hit Revered, then turn them in. If you can, save any quests until then as well.
My druid was Unfriendly with them up until 2 weeks ago, and I've played her since Vanilla! I ground up to Friendly doing the quests for Nafien and killing mobs, then took the Runecloth quest and held that until Revered and turned it in.
What I found was that I used the time to level all my druid's weapon skills to 400. The slow circuit around whatever camp(s) I was working on allowed enough time for them to respawn.
I started with northern Felwood, but when another druid showed up and was killing quickly, I went to Winterspring and started going through the 2 camps in the western part of the zone. I went to Winterfall Village twice, but there were usually other people there, and not wanting to interrupt my flow and wait for respawns, I just went back west. This did also let me catch the Winterfall Runners most of the time, too!
Well (un)fortunately I'm already at Revered with Timbermaw from doing a little grinding here and there for the last year. I haven't saved any turn-ins though. I'll probably save this one for last because it's so grindy and I loathe grinding.
