Another DK fail story \o
I know we get a lot of "Terribad pug" stories on here, but this one was so bad it was kind of hilarious so I thought I'd share.
Three friends and I group together for the random, all we're lacking is one DPS. We end up getting HVH as the random and the DPS slot is filled by a DK from another server. When we zone in, I say to my pally friend who was our tank "You should have ret offspec instead of holy so I can tank this :| lol" (I really like tanking HVH << is fun). The DK randomly spouts out "Shut up and do your part", lolwut? So i'm thinking the whole time "Who dumped sand in this guy's crack?" when one of our other group members peeks at his spec...

We all had a good chuckle at it, especially when we noticed he's using obliterate as 71 point blood, then another decides to inspect him...here's what we found:
This meta.
Was wearing a purple +def chest as DPS (He seems to have upgraded it now to t9, he may have been mistakenly wearing it since his offspec is uh, 0/64/0 ?__?, but I doubt it.)
This belt. (Maybe he's a fresh 80, idk, but even if he is...he's wearing tier gear...couldn't he have at least upgraded his green belt first? lol and then to beat it all today he's bought his t9 chest and put it on when he already had a purple chest, even if it was +def...lol)
No enchants on any piece of gear.
I'll mention that he also had one green trinket and a +resil ring on, but I can't say too much about that cause trinkets and rings can sometimes be a little difficult to get.
This guys gear otherwise is fairly decent, mostly ToC/H ToC and stuff from the 3 new dungeons, but he was still only doing like 1-1.5k DPS (Which I know is probably fine for HVH, but even accounting for the greens and the couple of blues he had on, he should have been doing way more than this lol. Probably low because he doesn't know what his rotation is).
I don't normally like to say much about people I run with in PUGs who have weird/wrong gear, I usually don't even inspect people, but this guys attitude and fact that he's telling me to "do my part" when he obviously isn't really clear on how to do his own...He was asking for it. lol
Anyone else come up on something similar lately?
