Submitted for your approval: I am considering dropping my thesis.
The thesis still has many things going for it. It would look great on a resume, especially to graduate or law school, or really any further educational thing. It wouldn't be as important in a job resume, taking up all of one line. Perhaps most importantly, I'd get to say I graduated with departmental honors. Getting accepted into departmental honors was my reason quitting my second major of Journalism.
On the other hand, by dropping it: I would still graduate with a pretty nice GPA, two minors, and a concentration. Oh, and I'd only need to take 12 hours each semester. Ohhhh easy days. My time is a lot more precious now that I am working (for free) three days a week at LD's office. To be honest that's might just look better on a resume then honors. I am not saying it would be impossible to do both, but this final year would be a lot less fun. When I think about it studying for the LSAT in the time I'd clear up might also be better... I just don't know.
What are your thoughts?
ps- Today my Digital Games (by the way I could never be a computer science major... so many nerdy guys like me) Professor was wearing a bandana with the skull and crossbones on it and talking like a pirate. That's when I realized that it must be pirate day or whatever. I wanted to cry.
