Stats and What They Do For You

Apr 20, 2007 10:19

Here's a link to a wow_ladies post that describes stats and generally what they do for your class: http://community.livejournal.com/wow_ladies/2429116.html?#cutid1

(Some of the information is slightly off, as most if it is from wowwiki and that info is slightly outdated from Burning Crusade - according to a comment, the mp5 for spirit in feral forms works a little differently. However most of the information is correct and this can be a useful guide to help you figure out if a new piece of armor is an upgrade or not. I suspect that if much information is off about your stats, it is not off by very much.)

Also, druids do get 2 AP per strength, but only in cat/bear (not caster) and remember that if you are specced for Heart of the Wild strength is valued MORE because when in cat form your strength is multiplied by 20%. Cat druids often neglect strength, gearing themselves more like a rogue than a druid (by the logic that cat form is the "rogue" form of druids), but that can harm your stats :) AGI should not be totally neglected, but remember to keep a healthy amount of strength as well, since STR affects your attack power much more than AGI does.
