LFG The Calling
So, would anyone be interested in having a couple of blues? In specific, nature resist pants and another class-appropriate item?
Druids get Cenarion Reservist's Leggings and Sandstorm Boots.
Hunters get Cenarion Reservist's Legguards and Desertstalker's Gauntlets.
Mages and warlocks get Cenarion Reservist's Pants and Sandworm Skin Gloves.
Paladins get Cenarion Reservist's Legplates and Crystal Lined Greaves.
Priests get Cenarion Reservist's Pants and Desert Bloom Gloves.
Rogues get Cenarion Reservist's Leggings and Dunestalker's Boots.
Warriors get Cenarion Reservist's Legplates and Crystal Encrusted Greaves.
These rewards come from completing a quest called The Calling which requires a raid (minimum of 25 people from what I read EDIT: per heinous_bitca, this requires 40) to kill a giant Stargate Anubis-looking guy. There is a chain of quests that leads up to The Calling that can be completed in smaller groups. Someone did what seems to be a really good write-up here.
I think you need to be basically level 60 in order to complete the final quest. Given that Stargate Anubis-looking guy heals himself every time someone dies, we will want to minimize deaths. I don't think we have enough 60s in DotA's ranks to complete this on our own, so I would ask everyone to see if they have any significant others, relatives, or friends who might be interested in coming. In addition, perhaps we can beg some TUers to come help us out. :)
I don't have a date set for this yet, but I would like to do it within the next couple weeks. If you're interested, please drop a comment and let me know roughly your availability for the next couple weeks. If you know someone else interested in coming, please give their availability as well. In a few days I'll update with a proposed date and time.
Also, this is all information I've pieced together from research. If anyone has actually ever done this quest and has additional information and/or corrections, please let me know!
EDIT 1: Right now we will also plan on having some of our lovely Horde sisters join us. Since they won't be able to join our group, we will get the tag on big Stargate Anubis-looking dude, (hopefully) kill him, let one of the Horde girls summon and get the tag, and then help them (hopefully) kill him.
EDIT 2: I think very few of us have done the pre-req quests. One of the reasons I wanted to schedule a couple weeks in advance was to give all of us time to get groups to complete these quests. Mas has done the chain only as far as Dearest Natalia and would love to group to help finish up.
