DotA MogIt Party! June 20, 2015 @ 4 PM ST!

What's transmog?
Transmogrification, or transmog, is how you can change the look of your armor. There are different transmog NPCs in Stormwind, Shrine, Stormshield, and in your garrison, as long as you have a level 3 Storehouse. While armor-restricted (cloth armor can only be made to look like other cloth armor, and plate can only be changed to look like other plate armor pieces, etc.), it's still a really fun way to get creative and make some great-looking outfits for your character to explore Azeroth in.
If you'd like to know more, Wowhead has a great guide here on transmogrification basics! There are more guides here, if you'd like to check them out ahead of time for ideas and whatnot.
What's the party all about?
We'll be making transmog sets. Do you need help finding the perfect piece for a transmog you've had in the works for a while, or do you want to design a completely new outfit for your character? Not really sure what all the fuss is about, but interested in checking it out anyway? If any of those things apply to you, come join us!
What will I need?
You'll just need to download the mod MogIt from a place like Curse. Try to give yourself a chance to familiarize yourself with it ahead of time, but if you don't have the chance, don't worry! We'll be posting a basic "how to" guide before the party.
You should also have some kind of access to Wowhead, to doublecheck that the items you select for your transmog (or another person's, if you're designing one for a friend or guildmate) are still available in-game. Also be sure that the player's class is eligible for those items (for example, Raid Finder plate intellect items are only available to paladins due to the personal loot system, but they show up in warrior and death knight MogIt lists since they don't have Class: Paladin on them).
What will there be to do during the party?
Most of the party itself will be spent designing new transmogs - you are welcome to do this on your own if you prefer, but we will be in raid so please feel free to link your transmog for feedback/help finding a piece at any time!
You can also submit the following survey in the comments if you're interested in having someone else come up with a transmog for one of your toons - this will allow guildies to review and decide whether they'd like to take a shot at making a transmog for you. There will be no assignments - whether you make a transmog for someone is totally up to you. Please keep that in mind when submitting the survey - it is possible that your transmog will not get made - but if it doesn't, both kurai (Kurai) and dictates (Ana/Mad) are Mogaholics, and will likely try their hand at all the surveys at some point after the party!
