If you have not already merged your WoW account with your battle.net account, DO IT NOW.
Coming back from a 7 month hiatus, I was rather clueless about this whole merging thing. Since I had set up a battle.net account previously I thought this meant everything was taken care of. But you have to actually log in to your battle.net account and actively merge your accounts.
They merged my WoW accounts with their own battle.net account, the asshats.
SO DO IT NOW :O
