I have now bought my own PS3 and started AC2 all over again. The idea was to get it hooked up to the internet so I could cash in my points. I can't. I need the password for the wireless and I don't have it. I thought I could access it through my computer since I added it there to get constant access, but no luck. No big deal. I should be back home on Sunday. I can use my own network then.
But...
I have been to Ubisoft and Uplay's forum and MY GOD are those people there geeks. I don't even know where to start. I rushed through the game not really picking up on the full story or contemplated on what the contents of the glyphs meant. Now, after visiting the forum, I have found that the story is acctually very deep. And it brings up historical elements, LOADS of historical elements, that makes you start thinking. Not only that, there are hidden codes and messages in these hidden glyphs. Morse code, binary and at least one other kind that I haven't seen yet with my own eyes. Hidden text too. And these people at the forum has acctually cracked some of the code AND come up with theories of what it all mean. For instance, the morse code that I found but haven't been able to crack (I think I wrote down the wrong signs) says "Templar texts were adapted by mr smith". According to a forum user Hitler was referred to as Mr Smith; and he had an occult side that I don't think many people know about.
Tunguska in Russia is mentioned. Ghandi, JFK, Joan of Arc. The list is very long.
It acctually makes you start question Adam and Eve - and they are part of The Truth in the game. They stole the Apple, a Piece of Eden. They saw the truth. They were hunted and somehow the Apple, along with the Piece of Eden 2, a staff, were split to make humankind forget about The Truth. The hidden files and codes from the Glyphs mention several historical events where the Apple was used. It was used to cause confusion and make a silhouette on the hill when JFK was shot for example.
Conspiracy theories are interesting.
So today I have been looking at morse code and binary. Who said games were a waste of time and made you stupid?
I just wish I had slowed down on playing so that I could've enjoyed all these side stuff while playing the first time.
