Faramir will not go far into the woods. He was warned about them on his arrival, and, although he has no doubt in his own skills as a ranger, he arrived with no weapons and a wound that still is not entirely healed. Miranda, knowing no better, sees nothing rude about going to look at the pile of books this unknown man has collected, and when she comes out of the woods and notices him, she does just that-- kneeling down beside the pile and peering at the titles just as easily and casually as if she had been invited to do so.
