Surpries Parties and Sewing projects
FOr the first time ever I've actually been involved in a proper srprise party :) It was my friend Jos' 40th Birthday so her partner decided she should ahve a party, and a surprise one at that. In fact it was decided that she should ahve a surprise Bond Casino night; evening gowns with killer heels, tuxes and diamond encrusted faces and all. As welll as alchohol, food and card games!
Standing for 20 minutes in the dark waiting for the birtday girl to turn up was...an experiance. But worth it as she really was surprised. Her partner whisked her upstairs to change into an evening dress, (her not him! - he did a tux) and then it was an evening of socialising.
I learnt the correct way to deal and run an blackjack table :)
I was going t go to the National Living history fayre, but wke up feeling snotty and wasn't really up to it - but after having had a substantial lunch and taken tablets I am feeling a bit better so the rest of today is going to be spent sewing my next corset.
