I love completely slack days in school...
I had 3, I repeat 3 classes today (out of 7 even though 2 are study halls).

Ok so today is what is called "Senior Privilege Day" in the tradition of Brookwood. Seniors are required to wear their class shirts and khakis. First event of the day is a ceremony for the seniors where some guest speaker talks for a little bit, everyone tells us how amazing we are, and we get our senior gifts from the school (gold plated key chains with the school emblem on one side and personalized engraved monograms on the other). After the ceremony, reception follows with free breakfast and lots of pictures. Then... I had 25 minutes of Physics, a 15 minute break, watched a movie in Civics, had a 45 minute break, and had a shortened english class. THEN the fun began. FREE CATERED LUNCH FROM BARBERITO's for the seniors (which is the equivalent to Moe's, if not better), then we got to eat popsicles with our first grade buddies and paint our parking spots and chill for the rest of the day. My parking spot is green, with orange letters & white outlines (still a proud UM fan if you can't tell).

You Miamians will appreciate this I hope:
On one side of my parking spot, it says "Amanda 2007" but on the other side, it says "305 TIL I DIE!" lol proud? And NO one knew what that meant, so I ended up explaning to everyone the ghettoness of Miami.

And then... I did nothing. Almost no homework so I went to the coffee shop with a friend, bought new guitar strings, restringed (restrang?) my Taylor, and have just been jammin' out ever since. It's been a good day.

Tomorrow however, will most likely prove otherwise. LONG school day, no money, and lots of tests.
