Hey, Sophie. Christmas is finally here, and uhm... *holding up an envelope, it seems fairly heavy.*

Ah. Thank you. [taking the envelope] I've got something for you, as well.

[a flat rectangular package is appearing from under the bed, wrapped neatly in plain red paper]

What can I say, I'm a traditionalist. Besides, no one looked.

I'm a nosy person. I could have looked. *sitting on the edge of the bed. Facing Sophie, of course, and carefully unwrapping the present.*

You could have, but it wasn't there until after it was wrapped, so I think I'm safe.

I... used to be a Dungeons and Dragons geek when I was younger. It's this game based around fantasy, and... well it's not fantasy for you, obviously. It's kind of cool to know this sort of thing actually exists somewhere. *Yup, totally loves this to bits. Geeking out as it were.*

It really does. Admittedly, it's something of an interesting idea, having a game made of the world I've actually lived in. I'm glad you like it.

I do, yes. Once I filled a box I thought it might be easier to actually arrange them.
