(no subject)
So this has been a crazy weekend. Lots of goings on...
Friday I was supposed to go see Santa Mamba in Providence, however my car was acting up again, so halfway there I turned around and came home. I do NOT want to break down on the highway again...
Saturday I headed down to the Cape. The Cape sort of hates me so Im always weary of going there. This time, however, it went well. Hung out with good friends and had an AMAZING burger... Went to the beach and almost got thrown in.
Sunday I had to help an elderly sister move. I was told it was just a few things and would probably take an hour. However, instead we filled four trucks and a trailer full of stuff and it took three hours. Oh well, I dont mind helping out. After that, I went to see Green Lantern with Mike and Mindy. They were supposed to come to a fire on the beach afterwards but they were bums and bailed. Since I was in there car this meant driving all the way back to where we picked her up and then all the way to my house before I could head to the beach alone. The beach was very nice. FREEZING water but thats fine.
After we left the beach we had to go to Walmart. (this is where it gets good) Kate stayed in the car while we went into the store. I specifically remember saying as I locked the doors, "theres no need for me to lock the doors but I guess I will." WELL someone tried to get into my car while Kate was inside! They didnt know she was there. They then tried every other car in the lot! When we got out and started driving away we saw this women rummaging through a car. I stopped and got out of the car and called out to her. She proceeded to run into another car where she had a driver waiting and they drove away. Well it was stupid because we got their license plate number. I went into the store again and told the shift manager, who called the police. I talked to the police and they sent someone down. While we were waiting, the owners of the car she stole from came out. They got to their car and saw that something was wrong. We told them what happened and they started figuring out what she stole. Some of what she stole was groceries... (fail) So the cop showed up and took our stories and everything we could remember and away we went. Take that criminals!
