Yay to long weekends!
I work one day this week (today). Its addicting.
Anyways, lets talk about the long weekend.
Saturday was the first waterfire of the season. So a group of us headed into Providence. We were there early and got to walk around a bit. Went to Parkside and had amazing food! Then walked over to the duck and bunny. They have coffee and cupcakes and such. They also have a creepy picture that stares at you dissapprovingly as you urinate. We then headed over to the waterfire area to see them light the fires and over to the swing dancing area. We didnt stay by the fire for as long as I would have liked but there will be more waterfires.
Monday I went to the beach with Brockton people. What I didnt know is that we were going to a beach in NH. Hampton Beach. Long drive, but its ok because it was a nice beach. I have come to a decision... and this isnt new but just confirmed. Never try to meet up with people at a beach. If you are all going to the beach, meet up somewhere and go together. Plus I hate being the tag along group. You know when its clear the other people could care less if you meet up or not. Yea it was lame. Whatever, I didnt know them and it was a beach! I did get sunburn on my feet, though. Its really bad. After the beach we decided to head into Boston. We walked around a bit. Saw some skateboarders. Then we started seeing blood. First a hand print. We thought it was maybe some messed up prank. Then we started seeing drips, and puddles. So we came to three possible conclusions: 1. The skater we saw took a wicked fall and left a mess everywhere. 2. It was some aftermath from what happened earlier in Boston (see next pragraph) 3. It was something entirely unrelated like a stabbing or such.
Anyways, we get back and I see on the news that at Hampton Beach, some 12 year old girl went missing. (She was swept out to sea! They found her body finally. Really sad) Also, we learn that in Boston, 1,000 people had an all out brawl in southie! Like some insane fight broke out with EVERYONE. It was the other side of Boston but it was still crazy to here that everywhere I went something crazy happened... I didnt do it!
Tuesday I went over the Oteris for dinner. They have a smoker. Smoked pork and chicken is amazing. Mmmmm....
