(no subject)
So its time for an update!
This was a fun weekend I guess...yes.
Saturday I went to a wedding. A young couple from my hall got married. It was nice. Hes pretty much been a father for her kids for a long time (their real father bailed) and so its nice to see it sort of become official. There was good food and good friends. I had been warned ahead of time that there would be a sister there that certain people were going to try to set me up with. This is not something I condone but Im also not one to ignore my options either. So everyone was making a big deal about it...annoyingly. People think they are encouraging me by trying to push me. This only makes me want to NOT do whatever it is. Anyways, as I headed out of the bathroom a sister brought her over and introduced her to me. So we talked. It went well. However, before we got a chance to talk again, she left! Like wicked early too. It was pretty lame. So whatever.
That night I headed over Joes house to watch his dog, Bogie. He is a big smelly dog. He LOVES people. He is a little bit of an attention hog...no, a lot of an attention hog. Sometimes its cute that he wants to always be at your side and follow you around, but when you're sitting watching tv and he is next to you breathing his smelly breath because he wants your attention, its a bit much. Sometimes all he wants is for you to have a hand on him constantly. I wouldnt mind if he wasnt so smelly. Oh well. Hes obedient. He plays this game where he sits on the stairs and you hide his favorite stuffed bunny somewhere in the house, then he runs around searching for it.
Sunday I went to Ben and Leannes for dinner. I love Mexican food! We had a good night of fun and what not.
And now to work...
