[Oh man that one hurt. He blinks and looks over at Dave.]

Thanks. I worked hard on that one.

[Aaaand working on getting back on his feet now. Might take a minute.]

Well... it's kind of a weird story, but long story short, I'm new to it. Again.

[Yeah that made no sense. But he's standing now, that's a good thing.]

I mean that I had just lost my leg back home before I got brought here, then I had my leg back, and I just got it taken away again. So. Yeah.

[Hiccup stares for a second.]

...yeah I have no idea who that guy is, but I'm pretty sure my leg is gone for good now. Kind of a relief, actually.

[Wow this kid talks weirdly.]

No, I mean it's kind of a relief because it was weird to go from not having a leg to having it back again, but now that it's gone I know it's gone for good. So I don't have to worry about the magical reappearing leg anymore.

[Hiccup rolls his eyes. But he definitely limped walked into that one.]

Yup, no more worrying all night long.

Yeah. Well. That's why I'm practicing.

[Hiccup sighs and rubs his forehead.]

Whatever. I'll get the hang of it soon.

Guess so. Guess it comes with the whole viking thing, though.
