Learning to trust...
Sometimes I sit here and I wonder when this will ever end. I wonder why God allows me to go through all these hard times. Yes, I know it is growing my faith and strengthening me and making me more like him...still I sometimes feel lost. The thing about God though, is that he always finds a way to speak to me in the midst of my despair, his voice comes through and it is just what I need to hear...
"No matter what we're facing, no matter how bad it looks, we can have hope because God's in control. He is watching over you with "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). So, as hard as it is, we can trust him to turn around the bad times and give us "beauty instead ashes [and] gladness instead of mourning" (Isaiah 61:3, NIV)."

"Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I WILL YET PRAISE HIM, my Savior and my God."
