Boredom was not something that sat right with the Doctor, he never was good at just relaxing. He always had to be doing something. Anything. Which is why he'd enter random co-ordinates without looking at the data on the screen. That way he'd be pleasantly surprised and he could play a guessing game as he went along. What was the fun of exploring if he knew where he was?
He strolled around the planet he'd arrived on, clearly not Earth at all. Still it was a nice space-station from the looks, very high tech and he was guessing somewhere between the 40th-50th century. He was still looking for the tell-tale signs that would lead him to his answer. He certainly did stick out, there weren't many humans around, plenty of different species of alien to pick from though. Which he naturally loved, new people were always fun and he couldn't wait to throw himself in with them.
Though, as much as he was used to odd creatures, he couldn't help but stare at the alien that had what looked like a purple lamp shade for a head. How... unique.
