Rosenhan's "On Being Sane in Insane Places" 1972 - Can 8 sane psuedo-patients be admitted to a mental institution just for saying they hear words like "hollow", "dull" and "thud" without any other symptoms and still giving their actual personal histories? Addressed problems in diagnosis and the lack of concrete terms that were (mostly) addressed in the DSM-III. Summary here.
