i feel like this semester is going to make up for the whole year at NU, because my brain is going to be on overload... taking 3 languages at one time is crazy! but i love it. i ended up signing up for the last class i need for the major, since i ended up dropping the costume design class, so i am now done with the french major (though i am going to continue to take classes obviously, i'm not going to just drop it...). i'm thinking about what i can take next semester, i'll have greek 102 and japanese 102, and i think i'm going to try to get either a C, J, O or P class out of the way. if i take a C a J and a P i'll be done with the classes i need...then i can graduate. ?!

it feels weird to be close to graduating and close to being 20. and what's this business about college being the best years of my life? i just think it's another step, i haven't done anything monumental to make it earth shattering, but they haven't stunk. besides, looking at culinary and grad schools keeps me thinking that this phase isn't over quite yet.

i've got to start practicing my japanese outside of class more, and i mean beyond writing hiragana all over the place. i don't know how to say much though...
