loving the food network right now. mo rocca is a judge on iron chef america! plus, mario battali is the iron chef.
as far as the american iron chefs there, mario > bobby flay. for the others: masaharu morimoto is fantastic. i don't know much about the new guy. i applaud kat for being the only female on the show!
i'm really excited to be going home, i want to try some new recipes and make new food, and i'm excited because most if not all are gluten free, and the rest are easily altered to be gluten free, so new fun food for nate!
i made 3 cakes this week! one for ana (belated birthday) and then 2 for french related things. i wish i had had the luxury of putting a crumb coat of frosting on first, but oh well, i think they came out pretty well considering. i have this book of food you can make for a bake sale, and i want to try out all of those recipes, time to branch out from cake making!
i am almost completely packed and i still have til tuesday. i have a few things in my room to take down, i have to put the microwave in the box and pack all of my plates and such. it feels very weird to be done but i can't wait to be home.
