i am currently sitting in the waiting room of the division of labor standards enforcement of the los angeles court system. a former employer of mine owes me money and i intend to get it, plus interest.
i've been here once before, just about a year ago in fact, and for the same reason. i won my case last time but i kicked myself for not being stronger and getting a larger settlement. i'm going to use that experience to help me do better this time. currently trying to stay calm more than anything else. i'm nervous, angry, and excited--in that order.
