i just had a thought that was mildly comforting. i've been thinking about becoming a musician or making jewelry for a living. but doing those things would mean starting at the bottom.
with interior design, i already have the degree from a prestigious school. i already have experience that both looks good on my resume and has given me a leg up on my competition.
it's true that a degree and experience aren't necessary to be successful in anything, really, but they certainly help. starting from scratch is a very scary thought.
maybe i shouldn't give up just yet.
