Figure drawing and comics

You know you're too serious about figure drawing when you read Buck Godot and notice the non-exaggerated features of Louisa dem Five's body: the top edge of the trapezius at her neck, the scapulas, biceps/triceps, elbow bones, etc. Yeah, Phil Foglio has some stylistic quirks about breasts and waists, but the rest of the proportions look spot-on. Of course, Cheyenne Wright's coloring helps with the illusion of depth, roundness etc.

This post marked as "Adult Concepts" just in case someone gets annoyed by a link to a comic with a nude drawing (nipples hidden by floating medical equipment). Or at the idea of someone taking figure drawing classes with actual live naked people.
