So, this news has already been put to Facebook, but it's still worth mentioning.
I passed my qual!
This was one of the hardest quals in recent memory and I came in 10 points over the passing mark. At least one of the people busting their hump didn't quite make it (but he still has a few more shots). I know that one of the people on their last shot passed, and I don't know about the other, but he ought to have done alright.
Next step, starting to work on something besides teaching.
