John was pretty sure he'd gone to sleep with an uneven cave floor beneath him, that same old jagged rock sticking up through the blankets to make nice with his kidneys. So why he was waking up on a much smoother, if no less chilly surface, that --now that he thought about it-- smelled damn familiar was anyone's guess.
John's eyes blinked open slowly, and the sight that greeted him had him wobbling into a seated position in an instant. He was on Moya. He was...home. Did that mean that Temperance was....no, he could still hear her breathing behind him. Frell, what the yotz was going on?
"Bones," John managed in a tight whisper he barely recognized. "Baby, wake up."
