Let me forward by saying this. I love all people of the world. I want to spread my love (and sperm) to as many men as my heart (and body) will allow. Y'all who know me, know I am cool with everybody. That is why I share my personal uncensored thoughts with ya. So we can learn from each other. That being said... I gotta represent for my black gay men...because this shit has been on our minds a long, long time.

Yes. It has to be said. For a group of underrepresented, disadvantaged, discriminated against, members of American Society, gay folks are some of the most hateful, discriminating, prejudice people on the face of the planet. Especially the "bears". I mean, dude really when the "bear" community only consist of white husky men with facial hair? Now I am not a bear. I am too fat, so this ain't for me... This is for my black/darker latino/asian husky guys who continually get the rolling of the eyes and "Why Are You Here" look every time they enter a "Bear" function. You can deny this happens all you want. This happens quite frequently. It has permeated throughout the "bear" culture. In advertising and marketing especially. For instance, just look at the Intro page to Bearciti.com and "A Bear's Life" magazine. I know minorities only constitute like almost a third of the gay population, but I mean come on, man. You say being a "bear" is more of a mindset, yet your actions say otherwise.
It is a sad, sad situation when the very ones that are subjected to second class citizenship, start discriminating. We are supposed to be better than this. We aren't supposed to perpetuate the same ideals, the discriminators do.
But then again maybe this whole sense of being a gay community is a complete farce in general. I know I don't feel a part of a community. Please voice your opinion about this. All dialogue is good dialogue.
