Good to see another die hard Oasis fan from the states!!! Its funny the picture on my front page of Paris has to do alot about Oasis. Totally obsessed like you!!!
Last Feb i believe it was i heard Oasis was playing a small club date in Paris,France mid May and that was the same time my parents were going away for their anniversary on a cruise in the carribean. At the time i was just thinking of how thrilling it would be to go to Paris see the gig and come back without anyone knowing. I became incredibly obsessed wiht this idea until i knew i had to do it.
So i went in my parents room took my birth certificate from them, went down to the post office and filled out my passport info and had a shipping address of one of my friends house. Went on expedia.com booked my flight and hotel room for four nights.
Make a long story short i got there and it wasn't what i was expecting. It was kinda lonley not because i was by myself but because i couldn't speak french to save my life. :( So wiht this said a nice little incident happened to me wihtin the first 5 hours i was there to go with all this and scared the hell out of me. Right after this incident it was the first time everything hit me in the face like what happens if something more serious happens to me, or what happens if my parents find out. So right away i made a emergency flight out and back to boston airport and ended up missing the gig.
oh my gosh..I'm so sorry to hear that :( That would have been an awesome show. Thank you for adding me back and hopefully we can chat about oasis some more in the future!!! bye!
That's a nice story !!! :) It's an experience :) For me, I plan everything months ahead. If plan A is not working, I will plan B. Chris (your name ?) just added you to my friends list :) Do I like Oasis ? only their first album...:)
