blah
okay... so i TOTALLY need to vent at the moment...
SOO... i have Advanced General Chemistry, right?.. yes... but.. i don't have a book. and on my first day yesterday, that was the only class i got assigned homework... IN THE TEXTBOOK. so i go to the book room after all of my classes and after i met with my advisor and waited in line (i also didn't receive three other books and was given two wrong books) and when i got there they didn't have a book left. They told me to come back today.. which had a LONG line when i got there but the lady wasn't there yet so we weren't really in a line.. just a huge mass of bodies... lol. Well, when she came, she told us to get in a line and that she wouldn't start until everyone was in a line. Well i was trying to get in front of the person that had come after me and behind the person that was there before me and no one would let me in the line. I was just like, fine.. WHATEVER so i went to the end which was about 20 people long. Well, i get to be, like, the third person and her helper asks what book i needed.. she paused a minute and said that there were no Adv. Gen. Chem. books in and that they had put in an order already. The book lady promptly told me and anyone else waiting for that book to leave.
I WAS SO MAD. so now i'm hoping that SOMEONE in the dorm has an adv. gen. chem. book that they will willingly let me borrow so i can DO MY HOMEWORK... ugh.
So, there... i vented.
