Homophobia?
So I am new in the fandom though I have loved Batman comics for a very long time. I have really adored reading some of the slash fics in this fandom but I wanted to know how people in this community would believe the "civilians" and "league members" in the DC universe's to react to these two super heroes coming out (Whether it be in a relationship or alone).Does anyone know what DC's current stance is on homosexuality? I know it was one of the excuses for Robin going bad in one of the DC universe's comics but I also know Apollo and Midnighter was/(are?) shown to be in a loving relationship.
Also are there any fics/art dealing with homophobia/activist support/... for this ship? These guys are 2 of the most iconic figures going and are considered leaders even within the league. I would love to see a fic where an "in the closet" member of young justice reactions to these two coming out.
