Back in 2003, Jeph Loeb launched Superman/Batman, an ongoing comic book series that's still being published to this day, in addition to other wonderful DC books, such as Superman: For All Seasons and Batman: The Long Halloween and its sequel, Batman: Dark Victory (I highly recommend getting these books asap!). In 2006, he left DC Comics and went to work for Marvel Comics, and today it was announced that he's now Marvel Vice President Head of Television (dashing my hope for him to return to DC and write S/B again...). :(
In other news, Superman Homepage reports that Summer Glau, mostly known for her roles as Terminator in the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles TV show and River Tam in Firefly, is voicing Supergirl in Superman/Batman: Apocalypse, which will be released everywhere on September 28th.
