Some exciting rumors from San Diego Comic Con about DC's upcoming movies and animated projects!

From ComicMix.com:

A reliable source just told me: "Warner Premiere has a great many DC graphic novels in production or pre-production with WB Animation, including The Killing Joke. Scheduling through 2018-- including Superman projects."

From SupermanHomepage.com:

IGN.com reports that at the San Diego Comic-Con panel for their "Dead of Night" movie, Brandon Routh (Superman) and Sam Huntington (Jimmy Olsen) responded to questions about them returning for future Superman films...

"When asked if there was any news on the project, Huntington quickly shouted out, 'No!' But Routh was a little more forthcoming.

"The Superman Returns leading man said that there appears to be new momentum on the project and that he and Sam are both interested in returning for the sequel if it happens."

Bold emphasis is mine.

Best of all, the untitled Batman 3 (the sequel to The Dark Knight) has begun preproduction!

From Geektyrant.com:

So here’s what happened, at the end of The Book of Eli Comic-Con panel, someone asked Gary Oldman about Batman 3. He replied telling the audience that it will go into production next year, and that it should probably come out in two years. Then he said we didn’t hear here it from him.

I promise to keep a look out for anything that confirms that Batman 3 rumor and be sure to post any more details of any upcoming Superman movie. The only thing that has been confirmed so far is that Geoff Johns has indeed been tapped to produce/co-write the upcoming Flash movie.

Edit: I guess it's true because many other news/gossip sites (like Entertainment Weekly) are reporting the same thing.
