Traverse Town>>Interspace>>Twilight Town, Day...around 100
Well, it's finally the day of the Masquerade! I'm sorry if I couldn't get anyone over on the Homestar, as Aerith and Yuffie tagged along to head to Twilight Town for the party, and dragged along Leon. I took along my costume, which was -finally- finished yesterday. As for what the costume actually is, well, I decided to go with something simple and clean?! and not too much trouble to walk around in. After all, there's gonna be
twilight_sith , or at least his associates at the party... I want to find them.
I'll be going as the Cheshire Cat, who was flattered when I went down to Wonderland for a bit this week to sketch him for the costume design. Although I have to say, he is not an easy model to work with, vanishing and reappearing in the middle of drawing.
In the end, I settled on a simple purple knotted tank top, with a long skirt, both striped different shades of purple like the Cat himself. Over the cloth, there is a sheer layer of silk set to mimic the Cat's dissappearing trick. That cost me quite a bit of munny, as the Ducklings have to get it from the Land of Dragons. As for headgear and accessories, I'll sport a beaded headband, with patched-looking cat ears, as well as a tail. My mask is bright yellow, to match the eyes of the cat, that always dissappear last.
