This was--this was strange and sad and good. And I think the ending works, because it seems pretty clear that Brendon is right about them.

I think it's that most fanfiction is so dramatic, and, you know, even when they were really fighting, it didn't feel that--but I liked that it was different, that it was more meandering than anything.

No, I didn't mean that I didn't like it, I meant, hmm, more that it took me a while to get used to it? It's not actually a bad thing to write a story that is different from other fics, yeah? *g*
