Update on Recurring Community Features
My thanks to everyone who posted in the previous discussion topic and let me know your ideas. For now, I've decided on two recurring features for worldofscribble.
The first one you already know about, the Timed Writing Feature. The only two changes I've decided upon are:
We had some great submissions for the very first Timed Writing Feature, and you can find them here. Please read, comment, and decide which one/s you like the best, because you'll be voting on them next week as well.
The second recurring feature is a little bit different. In the Random Writing Feature, you'll never know exactly what's going to be thrown at you because it will change every time this challenge is posted. This feature will go up on the Monday following each main writing challenge, just in case the main challenge doesn't appeal, or you simply want to distract yourself with something else for a while. I am also pleased to announce that the talented lrig_rorrim has graciously agreed to administer this feature. So, get ready, because tomorrow she'll be posting her very first random bit of fun. As with the timed feature above, the responses for the random feature will also be added to our biweekly poll.

- It won't be posted every week, as I initially suggested, but every other week instead, right after voting is completed.
- I also said that each timed writing period would be for sixty minutes, but after advice from a few users, I've decided instead to vary the length of the time period.
