in other big brother news: i've gone right off luke, he's been a horrible little creep this week, spouting his poison from one housemate to another - i hope he gets some sort of gomeuppance sometime soon
loud new aussie housemate sara seems to be goob vfm but her odd flirty behavior with the blokes ( including mikey - is it time for another stand up gomedy "performance"...? ) is a bit offputting - & every time they show belinda belinda belinda singing one of her showtunes the ratings must plummet - unexpectedly, former love rivals dale & stu have become quite a funny gomedy double act - they were very goob in the diary room the other day impersonating belinda's singing

i really have no idea how tonite's eviction will go - i imagine it'll be close but plse god let's get rid of pompous bighead mario - i know he thinks his "14 million strong fan club" from "the ant & dec" are gonna keep him in - so it'd be great to see him lose to bex - & have his monstrous ego pricked just a little - tho i'm sure if he lost he'd recover in double quick time & be thinking "how on earth are the other housemates gonna survive without me to facilitate & to advise 'em on health & safety issues?"
it'd also be interesting to see how lisa gets on without mario - she might well shine ( - his "they're all laughing at you behind yr back" digs at her this week have been nasty & spiteful imo ) - MARIO OUT
ITEM! it's a bit of a drag that tonite's masterchef quarter final clashes with the new series of superstars ( - brian jacks! - kevin keegan! - squat thrusts! - dips! - etc ) on channel five - but that's why video recorders, sky plus & the bbc iplayer were invented, i spose
i'd like to see liz ( "lil", apparently ) mcclarnon out of atomic kitten &/or josie d'arby triumph ( - in their masterchef quarter final, i mean - not on superstars - tho you never know, they might be "sporty" ) - the two of 'em seemed SO HAPPY they'd won their respective rounds - & it meant so much to 'em that they had the "aw bless" factor in our house ( ie they made me go "aw bless" ) - in telly terms they've both had a bit of a "journey" ( plucky underdog, poor start, unexpected triumph etc ) should the producers wish to depict it that way - i spose that "angle" wld only work for one of 'em tho
not sure linda robson of birds of a feather fame ( or infamy ) should've been allowed to participate tho - not just cos she's such an awful person - but also cos she's already shown that she definitely can't cook on a celebrity edition of come dine with me - the other celebs in that "sequence" were rowland rivron, aggie mckenzie, anneka rice & toby young - & coincidentally, these episodes of come dine with me are being repeated on "more 4" this coming sunday, late afternoon & early evening
anyway, well done to debra stephenson for getting her chocolate fondant right - the toad seemed especially pleased, i guess "cooking REALLY doesn't get any tougher than this" - tho her custard & apple thing at the beginning looked disgusting - & boo to denise lewis for serving RAW POTATOES ( - wot was she thinking...? )
