I think Jeph Loeb is alternatively fantastic and terrible. A good example of the latter being his "color" books mentioned in the article, each of which I stopped getting after two issues.
At least it's implied that the Redulk is not Banner.
all loeb's batman books = a decent read ( - & i like heroes - he does have something to do with that, doesn't he...? ) - but i can't get over my suspicion that's he's a saboteur sent by dc to fuck up marvel ( like geoff johns was a few years ago ) ( it took the avengers ages to recover from his "input" ) ( but his jsa & particularly "52" = goob )
loeb's characterisation of hawkeye in the recent "fallen son" books = appalling, imo
mcguinness ( unlike guinness ) = not for me but i'm glad to hear that someone's getting enjoyment
ps. sorry if all my yak yak yak abt uk telly progs = a bit dull as dishwater pour vous - you seem to be coping admirably tho
I often end up reading Loeb stuff just because I like Sale's art, but they did together which I think was genuinely ace, perhaps because they had more leeway than on the big projects - Challengers Of The Unknown Must Die!
ooo - i haven't read that 'un - & i do q.like the challs ( for the obvious kirby worshipping reasons, dress rehearsal for the FF etc ) - i'll keep an eye out for it in the library - ta

Also, I love McGuinness for over-the-top stuff.
