1. Not very, but I rise to a challenge. A lady sitting on a doorstep stopped me on my way to work once with a story about locking herself out so I climbed through a very little gap at the top of a high window, dropped headfirst onto a television, tottered round to the door and let her in. Later I started to worry a lot about whether she should have been in that flat at all. And I got the sack from the job! To which event I owe a good deal of my continuing good fortune!
I used to run to keep up with my big brother and his friends along the alleys between the bushes and the flats but soon they would come to a low wall too high for me and be gone. I put my lifelong disaffection down to this experience!
2. That's easy! Poke, poke, poke; insert rosemary sprigs; slam it in! New potatoes, peas, mint sauce - sorted! Nice one!

4. I do, I do, I do! I would bring assiduousness, nay, doggedness to it! I love a mystery! One of my earliest fictions was the mystery of Tim And The Toffees (alas unsolved)! I drink, and I have a weakness for gals! For many years I wore dirty coats, and I am ready to jump back into them! I never forget a name! The best detective's a child detective! Give me two names and I can link the pair of them to a murder anywhere on Earth, or elsewhere, you can name! I dare you! You're nicked! I have you in my trap!
5. Ah, you have saved the most excruciatingly difficult for last! Twiglets have always been there for me. I don't think you MEAN olives, do you? Or salami, or grissini, or pistachio nuts? Or hard dried fish or zebra biltong? It's got to be Toasted Corns, Twiglets, and Red Doritos! But that's just today!

i think i'd make a goob detective too - so maybe we shld team up? - i cld be foggy nelson to yr matt murdock - the only flaw i can see in this in this is that they're not actually detectives
