but now i'm a mess of guilt for lots of other reasons!
i always keep my mp3 player on random but even so i'm slightly surprised that it took until my third post for a morrissey song to come up
ITEM! i should mention in all fairness to my legions of readers regarding yesterday's bargain hunt post that i'm not actually all that bothered about antiques and the like. i just like the programmes/personalities. any collectables i've got are more likely covered in dust & cat hairs than to be found in mint condition. btw, kate higgins is the name of the busty yorkshire lass auctioneer i mentioned yesterday
ITEM! if trey from the apprentice gets involved in the keep britain tidy campaign they could call him "litter trey"
ITEM! i just saw dolly skilbeck (jean something... rogers?) from emmerdale farm (in the days when it was called emmerdale farm) on an advert for stairlifts - once a major playa now reduced to a bit part - i once saw the bloke who played her husband matt skilbeck (freddie pyne) at putney br station but there was no question he'd ever get another acting job once he left the farm - my top spot at putney stn was joe pasquale but i can't think of an emmerdale gonnection, offhand
ITEM! i didn't know kiki dee started so early but she sung the theme tune to "doctor in clover" in 1966 ("Phwoar, those prunes...!" - leslie philips as doctor gaston grimsdyke)
ITEM! "it's my war wound doctor. when i was in the trenches a bomb exploded and a piece of shapnel went right up my..." "rectum?" "well, it didn't do 'em any good!"
ITEM! this is a bit like "hank's thoughts" for his fan club newletter - he's dictating them to darlene when his mind wanders to "man, you can't beat that missionary position"
