It's Election Night (yes, I voted), and I'm plastered to the refresh key on CNN.com like the news junkie whore I am.
For those of you living under a coal mine in the Himalayas, the Democrats have retaken the House (\m/ ^o^ \m/) and we have a good chance of snatching the Senate as well with things currently called in at 49 seats all. Technically there are 2 independents, but both have already said that they'll sit with the Democratic Caucus. Currently the battle over the Senate is down to two battlefields: Virginia and Montana (arguably; it's been a 5,000 vote gap at minimum in favor of the Democrat all night and there are now 81% of precincts reporting, so I tend to think they should declare it already).
For those who haven't yet, take note of the last names of the Republicans in each of the undeclared Senate races.
Montana: Burns
Virginia: Allen
